New Years Resolutions

I'm either ahead of the game for 2017 or severely behind on my 2016 resolutions.  Either way I feel pretty good.

My Dad asked if I was going to face life with a new air of calm and ...Well I can't remember the other word but in essence he wants to know if I'm going to be unflappable.  After I laughed heartily at the thought of a calm cool and collected CAB, I mentioned that compared to years past I am much calmer.

Last year I tried to do a 365 photo challenge but it quickly became too overwhelming and felt like work. This year I found a 52 week challenge which feels much more manageable.

I also got back in the saddle today.  The bicycle saddle.  It's been 8 months since I've been on a bike of any sort and I figured I'd do an easy hour ride.  It's amazing what you can forget.  Last year I started riding and forgot how difficult starting up could be.  15 minutes in I decided I was going to caught up a lung so now I have a base line.  Tomorrow's goal, 20 mins.

    I got my walking back up this year but not the biking.

    But if CAB can do it.... ;)
